I went to a microbiome wellness retreat with one of my best friends at the Haley farm in June. The Deep Creek area is picturesque, and the price was very reasonable. The meals were very good. The farm is such a relaxing setting, and I was able to get some great sleep. The yoga led by Haley, was a highlight of the weekend. My friend, who previously thought she couldn't do yoga, is now doing it every week. I really enjoyed the fermentation, where they taught us how to make kefir and kombucha. I stayed at Haley's Farm over the weekend for a Women's Resilience Retreat. Everything was truly amazing - from the Hospitality, Speaking as a Group at the Resilience Sessions with Stephannie Friend, Delicious Food by Haley including Fresh Apple Picking, Hiking, the Boat Ride, Sightseeing, even the Safety I felt while staying at The Farm to the wonderful Experiences, Memories & Friendships I will cherish from this weekend!Thank you again Kam, Haley & Stephannie! Semi modern Victorian suites that are very comfortable and clean. Haley is a very knowledgeable, personal trainer, Yoga instructor, nutritionist who made delicious from the farm meals for us each day. During out stay we picked apples and mint on the farm and did an excursion to shallow falls. The only thing I would recommend is packing extra snacks for before breakfast and after lunch.
