My 13 year old daughter and I (and a friend) just took a class for self defense. Every month Laura Eyler offers a free Ladies only self defense class at Urbana Academy LLC. It was great. We attacked each h other and fought off our attackers. She kept the class fun, but on topic. Laura expressed the importance of being safe, not polite. While we were smiling and having fun, I feel better prepared. I plan on going back for more practice. The more we practice the better prepared we can be
Everything! Andrew the co-owner who teaches Krav Maga is wonderful! It’s not a huge Corporation type of place, more like a small town-family owned facility. They treat you like family here, I love it!!! What I really love is I signed up for Krav Maga classes, they incorporate Muay Thai and jujitsu in our classes.
