About Richland Golf Club
Richland Golf Club is a golf course that offers a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. It features a mix of difficult and easier holes and well-maintained fairways that provide ample space for strategic shot placement. The greens and fairways are well manicured, making it an enjoyable place to play. However, there are areas for improvement such as the condition of the sand traps, many of which need more sand and have large stones, especially on hole number two. The course has been making improvements, but some bunkers are still in poor condition. The cart paths also need repairs. On-course signage is minimal, and players may get lost without a knowledgeable partner. Some tee boxes are not level, which has been a common concern. The course experienced some issues with fairway aeration happening without notice, causing muddy spots and inconvenience. The restaurant and bar have been reported to be closed at times, leaving no food or beverage options available, although the beverage cart is friendly and well-stocked, even on weekdays. Despite these issues, the course provides an engaging and varied round of golf, but further attention to bunkers, signage, and communication would enhance the experience.
This place is the best value going for a really nice place to play golf in Frederick County! I have been coming here for over 2 years and have been treated well. If we as golfers do our part and fix our divots and ball marks the staff could spend more time doing what they need to do! If you want a Country Club experience go pay for it somewhere else, if you want to play at a really nice public course come to Richland!
Been a member here for 4 years it's always a beautiful course especially in the fall and winter. Can't wait to join back for year 5
Was scrolling through FB and ran across a few photos of female who photo dumped pictures and posted help wanted at Richland Golf Club. Figured I would see where said golf club was located, which brings me to my next point attempting to attract new members I’m pretty sure this isn’t what you want to see a young lady photo dumping your page with her tongue sticking out. 2nd the rate of pay for line cooks is lower then most fast food restaurants in the area!!!!! Then reading comments like others have left about bunkers being unkept, and the course not being in good shape. That falls on your staff! Hire a staff that takes pride in a place they work. Hire a golf professional to oversee your business. Make it something to be proud of. I’ve had the privilege of playing on some amazing top courses growing up even public courses and non have had reviews like this
