Waverly Woods Golf Club

Waverly Woods Golf Club is a challenging and fun course with unique aspects and a Hills design that makes the most of the natural contours of the land. The course is in excellent condition, with greens that are smooth and quick, and fairways that are lush. The layout features some tricky holes that test different skills, making it an engaging experience for golfers. While it can be slightly challenging to walk due to hills and some spaced-out holes, the scenery provides a beautiful setting for a round of golf. The white tees offer a good distance for most players, and the all-grass driving range is convenient. The course offers a well-maintained environment, with bunkers that are carefully cared for.

The staff at Waverly Woods are friendly and helpful, with one staff member even offering to let a forgetful golfer borrow his own shoes. The workers are friendly, and the manager is quick to resolve problems, ensuring a positive experience. Some reviewers mention that green fees have steadily increased and now typically cost over $100 on weekends, which many feel is high for this layout. Additional expenses such as range balls and an $8 hotdog can add up, making the overall experience more costly. Despite some concerns about pricing, the course remains a popular choice for many golfers.

Overall, Waverly Woods Golf Club is a great place for a golf outing, providing a fun and challenging experience that is worth the green's fee for those seeking a memorable round. Its natural design, excellent course conditions, and friendly staff make it a top choice, even as some players note changes over the years.
