I found these ladies on Yelp and am so grateful I did. I am always anxious about going to any salon. Seriously, the whole process usually stresses me out. My experience here was different. The shop was clean with natural light. The TV wasn't blaring. There's parking onsite. No loud phone calls in my ear. The job was done quickly and efficiently with regular checks on my level of satisfaction. I'll definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace when they get their hair done. One note, they don't take cards. There's and ATM in the market a few doors down from the shop, and one in the nearby gas station.

I selected this salon based on yelp reviews. I scheduled an appointment at 5pm for medium box braids, when I arrived they got started pretty much immediately. The two ladies were nice and moved quickly, they finished around 9. The braids are very neat but the ends are raggedy and after only one night they're coming unbraided. Looking at them this morning I can see that some are braided mostly to the ends and some aren't, it looks like they were also cut with scissors instead of using a blade to take off the scraggly ends. There's also 2 braids that are extremely tight on my edges that became red and irritated over night. I'm planning to return this evening to hopefully get these issues fixed.
