I had the BEST experience today at Hair by Grace in Lusby, MD! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so sweet, friendly, and understanding. The communication was on point, the prices were super reasonable, and the whole vibe made me feel like I was being completely pampered. First of all, the salon is absolutely gorgeous! Everything was so comfy—even the sink where they wash your hair. I’ve never been to a salon where getting my hair washed didn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable, but they’ve figured it out here, and it was amazing. I didn’t grab a drink from their drink bar (even though I was tempted!), but I couldn’t help sending a picture of their drink menu to my friends and saying, “They even have a freaking drink bar!” It’s those little touches that make this place feel so special. A huge thank you to Meg, who completely understood what I wanted, helped me explore other options to be sure, and nailed my hair perfectly. She was so positive and passionate about the salon’s mission, which made me want to come back even more knowing how much the staff loves it there. Another big thank you to Kira, who was so sweet and welcoming from check-in to shampooing. She made sure I had everything I needed, answered all my questions about hair care and products, and even helped me pick out some great items to take home. The whole team was amazing, and for the first time in forever, I felt completely comfortable in a salon. I was already planning my next appointment before I even left! Thank you to everyone at Hair by Grace for making me feel so beautiful and pampered. If you’re looking for a salon, I can’t recommend Hair by Grace enough. You’ll love it!
I moved here 4 years ago and went from place to place for haircuts and never really felt loyalty to one salon or stylist. That all changed last week when I sat in Katie’s chair. She listened to my concerns about my scalp and recommended products that I love, and most importantly fixed a botched haircut to make me feel confident again. The salon is so nice (loved the complimentary drink menu!) and I’ve already made my appointment to come back for color, which I never get done, because of my confidence in Katie. I’m a client for life.
