I was in town for business and recently started BJJ. I called and asked to pay a day fee to roll for a session. I was told not to worry about it and to just swing by. Attended the class learned 3 new moves. Instruction was clear, well articulated, and shown until thorough understanding. James (owner) provided direct feedback on how to do his instruction better which was great and appreciated. His assistant instructors were attentive as well. I was about 2 mins late given I didn’t know exactly where the gym was but I was immediately rotated in. They mentioned they are moving to a new larger gym which is exciting for them as they have a great group of folks training. Everyone was welcoming and hard working.
After a couple of years of soccer we could tell that it wasn't my son's passion. He asked to try jujitsu and was hooked from day 1. He loves this gym and Professor Jona. It's been about 8 months since he joined and has grown so much. It's amazing to see his excitement when a new move clicks. We also love the summer camp options!
My husband started attending the adult class. He has lost weight and gained muscle. Both my husband and 8 year old are training for a fall tournament! Highly recommend this gym!
