This agency is the worst! Totally unreliable and not attentive. I scheduled an appointment for my 83 years young mom whom needs in-home OT and PT. The Nurse Practitioner (Hawa) was scheduled to come to our residence on a Saturday and never showed when I reached out to her via phone. She stated my mother was never on her schedule then she asked to reschedule for Monday at 9:30 AM in which she called at 9:15 AM stating she was in traffic however she didn’t arrive to our home until 5 PM.

This review is for the Kensington MD location. Headquarters is Annandale VA. Scheduling nightmare after scheduling nightmare after scheduling nightmare. It took 10 days to get a phys therapy session; we were into week 3 and not even an offer of an Occ Thereapy session scheduling. I am home 24/7. The management/office does not interact or help patients with coordinating scheduling; it is left to the individual therapy or nurse provider. Each is pleasant, but I must now coordinate with 3 providers (PT, OT and Nurse). Sometimes they want to come at the same time. YOU BECOME THE CLEARINGHOUSE FOR THEIR STAFF. The individual providers leave phone messages (often at 7pm to 10 the night before) to schedule (sometimes for the same time!). Company policy appears to be that that PTs and nurses are not allowed to schedule the next week in advance (the assignment MIGHT go to someone else). So we reinvent the wheel every Sunday evening and/or monday morning. The structure is to have an initial evaluation visit (a paperwork visit) prior to any actual nurse or therapy scheduling. Ok. Understood. But it took five days for the inital assessment visit (although their paperwork was dated to three days!). For many days after the initial OT eval visit I did not receive a call to schedule. I call and get put off. I text and get put off. The providers expect you to be available all day everyday (especially Sunday night for scheduling). Scheduled appts are sometimes postponed hours at the last minute. It appears to be a management choice to jumble the schedule every week. I think this lazy and unsophisticated. The individual providers are super pleasant and well skilled. They suffer the scheduling nightmare too.
