I had a sleep study done at this hospital- my tech was extremely nice! I am a nurse & i feel like my hospital needs to step up their game! The facility was very clean, comfortable & like home! My tech ( I wish I could remember her name) gave me an extra pillow & blanket- which was very appreciated as it was a little cool & I like heavy mess on me to sleep. My tech anticipated my every need & was very prompt.
I went to the Emergency Room last night at 9pm for excessive bleeding and at 1:30am I hadn't been seen so I left. The place was filthy. There was an Inch of dust on the window. The floor was dirty with tiles coming up. The ceiling had water stains. Bugs were flying around. Not to mention the staff is mediocre. The triage nurse didn't even know what a myomectomy was. This place should be shut down.
I came here with my grandmother Monday night stayed in the waiting room from 10pm-5am. The nurses are great and some other staff. Mind you my grandmother has a pacemaker and struggling to breath with swelling and high blood pressure. when they finally put us in a room it's a joint room and by the way if you have family that doesn't speak english and your helping them to translate and communicate with nurses and doctors. They will not accommodate the guest sleeping wise. Mind you since it's a joint room they have two beds and one of the beds are empty. I slept there for a night. Next morning, they're telling to me get up because they have a "patient coming " day passes no patient. I didn't know they had early check in for patients who don't show up. My concern is not really with the bed my frustration is accommodate the patient family too if they are helping with the language barriers. I understand that I'm not a patient here but if we have been here since Monday night hopefully Thursday morning accommodate. Not to mention the real reason for here almost four days is to see the heart doctor. We've seen every specialist you can think of but the main reason why has yet to come .To my knowledge they only accommodate roll away couches to one bedroom. 2/10 would not recommend.Also, we have been here three nights and NOBODY has came to clean my grandmother bed. If I didn't do it myself. Mind you we were told someone was coming to clean but bed but did not. when it came to me sleeping on the extra bed they as in the nurse supervisor Toni or Tory was quick to call house keeping to come clean the extra bed but did not come clean the actual patient that's been here for three days. ITS IS RIDICULOUS HERE. If you want to feel neglected they will do a great job smiling in your face while you are here for days straight without seeing an actual doctor.
