Awa is not only an excellent braider, but she is truly an awesome human being. She started doing my mother’s hair around 2017 when she was going through chemotherapy. My mom’s stylist would not put chemicals in her hair and she referred her to Awa for a protective style.
Whenever my mom needed her hair done Awa adjusted her schedule to coincide with my mother’s last chemo treatment of the week. She treated my mom with utmost respect and she made her feel very special.

Awa sees you as a person, not just as a paycheck. I am also Awa's customer. Her braiding technique is unmatched and she is never late. I started going back to her again after my hair was damaged from relaxers. In record time, my hair came back. See photos. I know go to Awa on a regular basis and I now consider her my sister.
