With 13 years of service, they assist with various medical issues such as vomiting and diarrhea, and they support pet owners through difficult end-of-life decisions. The hospital is recognized for its exceptional veterinary skills and genuine concern for the well-being of all pets. Clients appreciate the quick appointment availability, often being able to schedule visits within a day or two for urgent issues. My dog Rodeo injured/tore his CCL. I called many vet offices in the area, and Jefferson came back with a reasonable estimate quote for surgery. Plus, they were able to accommodate him the fastest for a consult. Another vet office couldn't even fit him in for a consult for over two months.
He wasn't a good candidate for surgery due to age and Kidney disease, but I get a monthly pain shot for him. The vet we saw was very helpful and informative. My boy is now able to climb steps on his own and has been managing much better.
My cat's chin was swollen and I was able to get him in the next day. Visit was quick but diagnosed him for what I had thought was the issue. I have brought all of my cats here for the past 4 years. What I appreciate is that typically I can get then appointments within a day or two if there is an issue. Some of the vets seem more friendly than others but it does not affect the care my cats have received.
Recently, we had to make the tough decision to put down our whippet mix, Maggie. Dr. Ahalt and his team did a phenomenal job of talking us through the process and making sure we felt as comfortable as possible during a tough situation. They have never pushed unnecessary tests or costs on us with either of our dogs who are patients of theirs. We will continue to use them!
