I had my attic insulation redone. I had 4 different companies come by to give me quotes and give me their recommendation. I also did a lot of my own research. I decided I really wanted to free up my attic floor space and make use of it. So I decided to go with Open Cell Spray Foam with Potomac Insulation and Dry Wall. Some companies might try to sell you 8 to 12 inches of foam. Of course it all cost more as well. But after 6 inches it does not really make that much more of a difference. We are in zone 4 and are winters do seem to be getting milder and instead of trying to get me to have more insulation sprayed in at a higher cost they were honest and told me 5 inches would be plenty. It will give me the R-Value I need, and the seal and barrier I desire. And best of all they beat everyone's price. They were even cheaper then having blown in insulation. They did an amazing job taking all my old insulation out and spraying in the new insulation evenly and throughout my attic space. I do not think you will find a better deal than Potomac Insulation & Drywall.

Feb 2018

The guys recently installed more insulation in my attic to reach R-49 rating. I just noticed my heating fan is not running. Which means the house is finally holding in heat. Thank you guys! I will be recommending your services to my neighbors.
