I bought a van from Reddit (I know, I know). Long story short, it ended up breaking down on my first cross-country road trip...right outside this town. I got it towed to a local guy who couldn't really help, and then he suggested I drive it down (on NEUTRAL) to this local shop at the bottom of a hill. That is the day I learned to always appreciate power steering.
I ended up leaving my van there, in this town, with nothing but a prayer. I left my keys in the drop box, then got a call a few days later from some really lovely lady, saying that they were working on it, and the owner of Atlantic was looking at it himself.
This is an honest shop. They could have ripped me off–they could have strung me along, but they didn't! They took their time doing a thorough inspection, fixed my fuel pump, then let me pay over the phone and pick up whenever. I split my time between Virginia and NYC–so I was truly at their mercy, and I was stunned at how great of people they were. They also fixed a wire that wasn't grounded, so the van runs better than it did when I bought it!!
I'm strongly debating driving all the way out there (2-4h from where I live) for any other repair work in the future. Seriously. This is an honest shop, and if you treat them with respect and kindness, they'll take care of you! So to everyone there, especially the owner–THANK YOU!! Sorry it took me so long to write this review. I was busy driving around the country in my FULLY WORKING van!!! Cheers to you all!“
