I first used Wantz Construction Co. in 2017 to finish the downstairs of the split foyer I purchased in 2015 as a HUD home. It was a total wreck. Its proximity to my son was the only attraction. Ed Hobbs at Wantz and his crew transformed the downstairs into a space that’s both functional and gorgeous. The space includes a large bedroom, a full bathroom, a kitchenette/bar, and a family room. Then in 2020, I hired Wantz again remove a wall and create an open floor plan for my kitchen, dining room, and living room. In addition, Wantz installed a new roof, enclosed my deck, and put down pavers around both my front and back entrances. Ed and his crew did a marvelous job in a timely fashion, so my house now is the envy of the neighborhood. His team members showed up when they were supposed to and were respectful of my property. No one on his team ever tried to talk me into work that wasn’t needed. If I had an idea that was too costly, Ed would let me know. Once he even said, “You should have gotten a different type of house if you want that.” He’d always end the conversation with, “We can do it, but it will cost too much — and you might not get a good return on your investment.” In addition, I trusted every team member who walked in my door. As a newly widowed first-time single home owner, that’s paramount!! I highly recommend Wantz. They greatly exceeded my expectations.

Wantz construction company was AWESOME to work with!!! They did interior and exterior work for us, that was FANTASTIC!!! From the estimate to the construction workers and painters this company was pleasant and easy to work with. Ed Hobbs the owner was always in touch with us and would make sure all work was upto our standards. Great Local Company that we have used for years to help maintain our little piece of paradise.
