The place is clean extremely polite and high quality meats they also have a lot of frozen meat that people don't take advantage of it's cheaper and I've been buying it for months the meat is vacuum sealed and is high quality way better than grocery store
I moved to the Hagerstown area two years ago, and immediately fell in love with the rolling countryside and it's miles and miles of produce, dairy and cattle farms. It's changed what I cook and how I eat. Horst Meats is my go-to place for beef, pork, and chicken. The product quality is high, and they'll do custom orders - even on the spot if they have the primal available. I can't say enough about the Horst family and their emphasis on quality and service. And such a happy place! The singing - sometimes in three part harmony - of the front-of-house staff as they work is inspiring and soothing. And, yes, they sell whole, half, and quarter cows. Yummy yum yum yum!
