Let me just say I just got my hair braided 3.5 weeks ago...Boho blonde just fresh off a pixie....long story short 40% of my hair was left undone!!! I couldn't even put it up in a bun! I saw Sylvia's last post of pixie braids and I was sold! By day 3 I was sitting in her chair @5:30am with a 2.5 hr drive behind me!
She and her team did not disappoint, and like the young lady in the picture, | left swinging my B1/27 braids down my waist! If you care about the integrity of your natural hair, this is not the salon for you. The braids are beautiful, but I’m genuinely afraid of what my hair will look like when I take them out. They blow dried my hair way too many times and the braider was literally yanking my hair out with a fine tooth comb. I could hear my hair snapping off as they braided. We also did not start until an hour after my appointment time. I love my results, but am overall disappointed with the service itself.
Coming from Richmond, my appointment was at 6am overslept! But these wonderful ladies still took me in! Xtra small knotless only 6hrs! I recommend everyone to come to Sylvia’s! I’ll definitely be back! This is the first time of many!!
