I have been with the practice for over 20 years but my husband joined the practice about two years ago. Dr. Avi Schachter is our doctor and he is the BEST. He truly cares about his patients and you never feel rushed during the visit. He takes his time to explain the medical issue and the proposed plan to address it. Dr. Schachter responds to our questions via the patient portal in a timely manner for which we are extremely grateful. I've been coming here for years and have been very satisfied. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. All of the docs and PAs are great. When I was upset about a diagnosis, Dr.Schacter went above and beyond talking to me and reassuring me (way past my appt time). I moved north a couple of years ago and still drive down to see him.

Family Healthcare has been my doctor for almost ten years. I have never had a problem with them in the past, but I called them last week for a physical and they said they were booked through NEXT OCTOBER. They are booked for ELEVEN straight months! When I told them I needed a physical by December as part of an adoption process, or I at least needed a form filled out, they said they couldn't get me in until next October and they couldn't fill out the form without a recent physical. I asked them if they at least had a wait list to fill any upcoming cancellations, and they said no.
