Dr Scacia and Dr Gibson have both been very nice. My dog had leg surgery and everything went well. I'm back today to have stitches removed and I would have prefered to go in with my dog. It's rediculous. Time to move on from the masks that DO NOT prevent covid. It will all come out eventually. If you believe they work then people should be able to come in. Swan Creek and Churchville allow u in. U just wait in your car til your appt time. This is just very annoying and I'm over it! No one did this with the flu. That causes death also. Other then this it is a great veterinary clinic!
Dr. Scaccia is the vet to see if your dog has difficult medical issues. She treated our beloved Old English Sheepdog Toby for his diabetes. He was a difficult case because he was somewhat insulin resistant but we were able to manage the disease for years with Dr. Scaccia's help. For anyone who is concerned about the cost of veterinary care which is expensive wherever you go, consider pet insurance. It may not seem worth it when ypor pet is young but you'll be grateful you have it when age related diseases show up such as cancer.
We moved to the area and needed a new vet for our senior mixed breed dog. Our previous vet was outstanding and I trusted her opinion 100%. I am one of those people who research a lot before committing to a new medical provider. Even more so a vet for my dog. Rock Spring is our 3rd vet in this area. The first 2 came highly recommended but why their ratings were so good baffles me. Fast forward to Rock Spring. We went there for a second opinion and never looked back. Everybody we came in contact with so far was very friendly and caring. The vet techs are thorough and take their time with pets who don't want to cooperate. Dr. Scaccia is outstanding. She takes her time, explains the whys and hows, gives options, has a wealth of knowledge - and most of all, she cares. We never feel rushed. We don't know how many more years our girl has but we know that Rock Spring will stay our vet. On a side note - their prices are very competitive!
