Dr. Vaughan, is in my opinion , the best vet I’ve ever had for my pets. He wasn’t my vet at the time he came to our home. My dog Fiona was very ill. Had been to 3 places. Last wanted to do blood transfusions, and couldn’t guarantee it would help and was talking like there would be multiple transfusions. I didn’t want to put her through that, so knowing Finksburg vet was a mobile vet, and already knew he was great because my daughter had him as her vet., we decided to have him visit to euthanize her. Dr. Vaughan has been our vet since moving to Carroll County in 2000. We are so lucky to have found him - he is pragmatic in his treatment approach: he deeply cares for his patients (and their humans), and knows when to be conservative in his approach and when aggressive interventions are necessary. He provided top level care for 2 beloved Labs, and walked us through their end of life care with absolute care and compassion (especially for our 2 young sons at the time). Dr Vaughan has been such a blessing to our sweet dog, Cypress. Dr Vaughan always responded promptly & sincerely with all of our concerns regarding treatment and medications. He made travel visits since Cypress was no longer able to get into a car due to his arthritis. He was so caring & gentle with a genuine concern. Cypress saw him as a friend as so do we. Thank you!💔❤
