I am in my mid-40s and have only just discovered the wonder of Brazilian waxing. I was so scared, read a bunch of reviews and prep notes, and took 400 mg ibuprofen 30 minutes before my appointment. I had nothing to fear. Tara made me feel so comfortable, like we had known each other for years. She is an independent business owner with a ton of experience. She kept me happily engaged while she waxed me, and it did not feel nearly as bad as I was expecting it to! Honestly, it only stung for a second or two, and less than an upper lip wax, but if you psych yourself out, your first wax can be almost pain free, and then it just gets easier from there!! My only issue is her location is 22 minutes from my house, but I'm totally making the drive because she is fantastic, and it's worth it.
