Dr. Ma is a nationally board-certified (NCCAOM) and Maryland-licensed acupuncturist with a strong foundation in both traditional and modern medicine. She earned her medical degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1998, followed by a master’s degree in oncology and a Ph.D. in genetics from Peking Union Medical College. Dr. Ma later conducted postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University, where she integrated cutting-edge biomedical science with the holistic principles of traditional Chinese medicine.
