I was coming In from Ohio to see my son for his senior game for lacrosse. My mother had cancer and I had plans for people to come stay with her because it was one of her iffy days. The person did not show and I had to bring my mom with me because she could not be left alone on those iffy days. I drove all night and had been looking for rooms in Wilmington. I was not going to get a room. I was just going to drive there and back to Ohio after dinner. But my mom was going to need a room and since she was with me I started looking. We had a lovely long weekend stay at Elk Lodge. Throughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the location, the grounds, and the breakfast!! And the proprietor was so helpful and kind. We will definitely stay again!
My fiancée and I visited this little spot for a romantic weekend getaway and it was fantastic! We walked in and couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces as we had our first look around this vintage mansion.
We booked massages on Saturday morning and the appointment was professional and amazingly relaxing - we felt like we were in a fantasy world!
(Also the $75 romance basket is totally worth it!)
