I waited 4 1/2 hours and did not get seen. I went up to the front desk to see what was going on, she called the emergency department, and I got told “you should be seen soon” and waited another 2 1/2 hours. Had to leave because I was in excruciating pain and they did not seem to care one bit. I got no updates about being seen and the nurses just seemed annoyed at myself and other patients. I saw three patients get discharged and not one person went back to get seen the whole time I was there. Had to go to a different hospital.
I went to Easton Hospital via ambulance from another hospital at 2:00 am. Saw a surgeon and had emergency abdominal surgery within hours.I had the most wonderful surgeon and nurse practitioner during my 5 day stay that I have ever had. The nurses, techs and nursing students gave me after care like I have never experienced. Caring, loving and kind. They were my angels of mercy for sure. I never had to ask for anything, they anticipated my every need.
My husband was admitted in July of 2023. They took his ID and his veterans card and never returned them. We have called several times without so much as a return call. Due to his health issues I can't get him to the MVA for another ID besides the costs. We're on social security. They lost the cards not us.
