I had a big load of material I need to transport from Newark DE, to Chincoteague VA. I probably could have done it with a pontoon trailer, but it would have been tight, and a 6 hour round trip. I found Shore Shot transport on a google. They picked up 1500# of 25’ long aluminum extrusion for me, and then picked up 9 sheets of 4’ x 10’ marine plywood outside Kent Island MD. It cost me $800, but I didn’t lose a day doing it myself, and my equipment would have been at maximum capacity. Time is money, and I’m sure I earned $800 by working while they were driving. Long Story Short: check these guys out if you need a big load transported. I think they only work the shore. Their equipment looks clean and professional, drivers are friendly, and my load was secured well, and showed up on time. I highly recommend these guys, and will use again.

I hired Kent a while back to do a couple moves for me. I had a truck that needed to go one way, and possibly a wheel loader that needed to go the other way. It was a tricky situation. One deal I was working on was not complete (didn’t know if I was actually going to buy the thing) and one leg of the transportation might not even be needed. He promptly understood, and gave me a fair price for both situations, and communicated with me appropriately as the situation unfolded. Bottom line...he was where he needed to be (on time) and delivered the equipment when it was needed, and didn’t play games with his pricing. When asked for his insurance info, within minutes, he sent me actual copies of his insurance documentation. Note that I had never met nor heard of him before we conducted business. His communication was spot on! After loading my equipment, he noticed one of his trailer tires was a bit slack. Without hesitation, he grabbed the equipment (one of two spare trailer tires he had with him) and changed out the wheel/tire. It seems he had picked up a nail along the way. Two things are important here. First...he was knowledgeable and caring enough to check out his equipment after the load. Second, he had prepared for such a situation, and readily resolved the issue. Both are marks of a professional. Why such a glowing review for a guy that hauled a couple things for me? I’ll gladly share... As a working class guy close to 60, it does my heart good to find a young, respectful, caring, hard working, intelligent person out there gettin’ it done, and doing a good job! Any chance I have to promote the business of such a person, I’ll do it! His kind are what our future is made of. I was so impressed with his disposition and actions, I tipped him when the job was done. If you hire him, and find, as I did, he’s exceeded your expectations, I’d suggest you do the same. Anyone who is in a blue collar field, and has been the recipient of a non expected tip from a more than satisfied customer knows the feeling within the heart of the giver and receiver is worth more than the dollar amount. But it puts food on the table of the receiver too. I suggest you consider hiring Kent to move what you need to have moved. I think you’ll get your stuff moved, on time, and at a fair price, and make a friend.
