Ten stars to Paul who was here to service the oil burner. Besides thoroughly cleaning and changing the oil filter, he replaced a small part. This unit has never had a better maintenance experience. Not only that, but it was the cleanest procedure I have ever seen. Not one speck of dirt was left behind. The unit is over 20 years old and is not the only source of heat but it should last for quite a few more years. It is difficult to find a competent oil burner technician and Paul is outstanding.
I have three HVAC’s and was with another company for biannual maintenance/servicing. Two months ago they told me I was going to have to replace all three of my HVAC‘s and gave me an estimate for tens of thousands of dollars.I wanted a second opinion and a friend recommended, AP Matthews who they have used in the past. The technician, Paul, was extremely professional and looked at the supposed issues with my units.They were just low on refrigerant and instead of paying $40,000 in replacement costs, I paid $500 for labor and refrigerant. Top notch company and service. The only folks I will call. Even before I was a repeat customer a year ago, they treated me like I’d been with them forever. Worked to get me in and help me.
