About Life Time
Life Time is an athletic country club that offers something for everyone. It features an expansive fitness floor, unlimited studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools. Members can enjoy unlimited group training and individualized attention with a Signature Membership. While some may find the prices to be steep, many agree that the top-notch amenities and services make it a worthwhile investment. The staff is great, and the gym's atmosphere encourages members to work out and visit regularly. However, some members have expressed disappointment with recent changes to the gym's layout and policies, such as the reduced availability of basketball courts. Members also appreciate the spa services, which include partial highlights, full-service haircuts, and blowouts. The spa is known for its cleanliness and sophisticated atmosphere, with staff like Jackie and Tatyana providing professional, kind, and attentive care. Many find the quality of service worth traveling over 40 minutes for, leaving members feeling refreshed and satisfied. Despite the positive experiences, some feel the equipment could be upgraded and maintained better, and overall cleanliness remains an ongoing concern.
I’ve been a member of Life Time Columbia for 3.5 Years- this should be the Premier Club of Maryland but lifetime continues to see the main Fitness area as an afterthought, I love the members and staff but I chose to give 3 Stars based on their inability to fix equipment/replace equipment and Upgrade equipment standards (it’s Just not state of the Art)????????♀️??
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Lifetime Spa for partial highlights and a full-service haircut, which included a wash, trim, and blowout. From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with the pristine cleanliness and sophisticated atmosphere of the spa. It’s clear that under Jackie’s management, the attention to detail and commitment to excellence are top priorities.

This gym has been great - very clean and that staff is attentive. The classes are great (if you use them) and the equipment is in good shape. The outdoor pool is excellent during the summer. Although It does get crowded with kids in the evenings. They just spent a good amount of money on refreshing equipment, including flooring upstairs, new pool chairs, and more. That being said, the price went up too - by a lot - which hopefully will keep the evening crowd down a bit, but does make you wonder if it is still worth it at times.
