I will return to James for any headshot that I need in the future. He is flexible with appointment times (he met me on a Saturday morning after another photographer canceled), kind, and has an impressive studio in Columbia. He made me feel comfortable and at ease with taking my photo - not easy! He is incredibly knowledgeable in his craft and does photography of others because he genuinely has a passion - he told me that he is semi-retired; James keeps at it because he loves interacting with others. Wow, where do I start? When walking into his studio, he has his portfolio displayed on his walls. They are incredible photos that are so clear and precise. I went to James for help with getting a 54 year old photo, that has seen better days and survived two floods, restored an enhanced and bring new life to it. He looked at the photo and explained that due to its extensive damage, it might not come out as I expect. James is a true professional. Easy to talk to and he cares about his work. I took some old family photos to him for duplication with some needing touch-ups due to age. His digital repairs were amazing, the photos look like new. I highly recommend and will be going back to James soon as I found another set of photos to process. Now, my family and I can all have copies, no more "fighting" over delicate photos.
