I recently had what I thought was pink eye, but it was diagnosed as Uveitis. I saw Dr. Carly Ward and I was extremely impressed with her examination and the time she took examining me. She diagnosed me and prescribed 3 types of eye drops. She wanted to see me back the next day. Then when I came back, she thoroughly examined my eyes again, taking her time. I felt she really cared about my condition and that really made me feel good. She wanted me to come back the next week also. Again a very thorough examination. I am going back to see her again this week to monitor my eyes. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the care she has given me. Everyone at this practice is really nice and very likable and I include Dr. Hess and the other doctors. I’m not sure about a couple of years ago, but now I would highly recommend the practice.
We love our visits to Dr. Hess! They are always accommodating with appointments since we are a big family, and the staff is excellent! Everyone remembers who you are, so you don’t ever feel like a stranger, and that is very important to us. Dr. Hess has a great rapport with all his patients but especially with the little ones. His confidence really makes them feel like they can do anything he asks them to, including getting eye drops! The office has been expanded and the practice is growing. They carry glasses of all kinds, and contacts as well. Most glasses can be made in the office, with a day turnaround, a little more depending if they have lots of patients to help out. They take their time making sure the glasses are comfortable for patients before sending them home, and are always available should a problem arise. With a great locale and easy access to 108 and 32, it’s a great practice.
