I cannot say enough positive things about NVA. While searching for an emergency vet to take our rat Freya to, we were referred to NVA by another veterinary clinic. When we called to explain what was going on, the staff told us to bring her in as soon as possible. Dr. Chappell did an excellent job explaining what he thought was going on with her and we appreciated the questions he asked regarding her living conditions. Unfortunately, Freya’s condition was too far along so when we went back two days later for a spay surgery- she did not make it. I cannot say enough good things about Neighborhood Veterinary Associates. From start to finish, the service was truly five-star. They were able to get my pet in within a very reasonable amount of time, and everyone I encountered was professional, patient, compassionate, and genuinely caring.

I want to say a huge thank you to Dr. Chappell and his amazing vet tech who saved my chicken, Glenda (and helping us address the issue with the whole flock). Not only did they fit us in same day, they were very knowledgeable and kind. I must have called about 35 vet places who all couldn't treat chickens or had zero availability for days. The cost wasn't too much for the extremely thorough job Neighborhood Veterinary Associates did for my chicken.
