Took my mom here for the 3rd year in a row to celebrate her birthday because she requests it and loves it so much. We always reserve a junior suite, which has a fireplace, jacuzzi, and wrap around balcony that has a wonderful view of the Chesapeake Bay. The front desk staff is pleasant and professional. Oh! I haven't stayed in the hotel in a while. You use to give us free or reduced rooms but,, we haven't had any in a while. Would love to come back. My husband and I go to the gaming room a lot. Also the bar- b cue is good.
It’s really more of a hotel and less of a resort. There’s not a whole lot to do in the town in general. The rooms were clean and the front desk was friendly. The CBQ restaurant is overpriced for food quality and quantity. The 1936 Bar and Grill was much better. The “casino” is really just two small rooms of slot rooms filled with gambling addicts. If you’re looking for a costal getaway for the offseason, Ocean City, Delaware, or Cape Cod are way better bets.
