We have a senior kitty Logan we took in from a shelter a few years ago at the age of 12 or 13. The vet was quick to diagnose him with hyperthyroidism and we discussed I-131 or meds. The two vets we went to agreed that meds if tolerated work just as well as the treatment. Taking that advise we just tried the meds and had some success until late in 2024 when they were becoming more troublesome and Logan's symptoms were getting worse. We took our kitty here for treatment and she did so well. The staff were professional and kept in touch the whole time. Our cat is about 8 months out from treatment and has gained a lot of weight back and looks great. She seems to feel so much better too as evidenced by her energy levels and sass. We wouldn't hesitate to use Radiocat again in the future if needed.
When it comes to treating your cat with hypothyroidism, this is the best option out there. Hyperthyroidism in cats does not stay the same, It is going to keep rising. This option at Radiocat will save you money in the long run and save and change your cats life.
