There isn't a day that goes by that I don't regret that I used Cabin John builders. Except for the beautiful exterior designed by a outside, reputable architect, the interior of the house is a disaster. We've had at least 4 floods due to the shoddy work of their plumbers, Flow Right. The heating they installed is second rate, the insulation, not a drop more than required, even though we paid extra. The windows are cheap and do not protect the interior from the cold and heat. Insulation around the windows is second rate leaving the window frames freezing in winter and hot in summer. Door locks installed incorrectly or upside down. The list goes on and on.... read full review

I left a message with the business after close on Friday. They got back to me early the next week. Even though my project was not appropriate for them, they let me know and pointed me in the right direction. If you have a large remodeling job, I recommend giving them a call!

Totally unhappy. There is a reason that contractors/builders have a bad reputation and it's because of guys like these. They're happy to take your money and talk up a good story but the reality is far different. We hired them to build a house and they produced a hack job. Poor insulation (non existent is several important areas), deficient lighting, poor plumbing. We had to remediate black mold within a year of moving in. The ceiling collapsed twice because of poor plumbing from leaks . They refused to fix broken locks installed incorrectly on doors, door handles fall off. Just a cheap result for top dollar.
