To date, I have never been more pleased or satisfied with any tradesperson who worked in my home. I had a slight leak in my shower fitting which could not be rectified when we tried to tighten it up, so we opted for the safe option of turning the water off and calling in a professional. A friend recommended Dan to me; her comment was, “If you can get him - he’s brilliant!” (My friend is one of nature’s more pedantic individuals and if Dan pleased her, he could please anyone!) Because it was urgent, Dan fitted in the time to visit the following day to assess the scenario and ensure we were left with water until the job was completed! It transpired that the fitting had not been correctly installed in the first place and Dan was surprised that it had lasted as long as it did! Dan and his colleague, Mitch, took their time, thoroughly investigated and advised us of the best course of action. Unfortunately, they had to remove a tile to gain access to the pipework but they proceeded to adjust the fittings, cap off the pipes and leave everything completely secure whilst they went off to order and prepare what they needed to fit a shower panel and reconnect the shower. They would have been more than happy to replace tiles if I had wanted that, but I prefer to have a panel - so that the plumbing can be easily accessed, should that ever be necessary in the future. They guys are very quick and efficient. They arrived early the following day, measured and adjusted the panel and left us with a functional shower - as good as new. Their motto is, “Measure twice - fit ONCE.” I was very impressed with the way they work. They are quick, but don’t rush. Everything is measured carefully, to the millimetre and consequently, the end result is very pleasing to the eye. In addition, Dan and Mitch are very friendly and amenable. It was actually a pleasure having them in my home. They do put their customers first and don’t leave until their clients are completely satisfied! In addition, the price was very reasonable indeed. In the past, I have paid equivalent or more - for a poorer quality of work. It goes without saying that Dan will now be my first port of call for any plumbing issues I may have in the future. I have no hesitation in recommending him as strongly as I can!
