I’ve been able to schedule once. Service from Ayana was great, she was very knowledgeable. After that visit the site would mo longer allow me to book with her. Tried contacting salon multiple time by calling, voicemail, and messaging through the booking site. No replies. It’s so hard finding someone to consistently provide natural hair care.

My first time going to this salon was absolutely AMAZING. My only complaint was not being able to get ahold of someone over the phone, but that was not a big deal for me. I was still planning on making this my natural hair home. I booked another appointment for the olaplex hair treatment and a trim because I have colored hair and I confirmed my appointment the day before. I arrived for my appointment on time and I noticed the lights were off and the salon was closed. A few minutes later another young lady comes over and said that she was told to come back around the same time as my appointment, even though she was on time with her scheduled appointment a few hours earlier. Both of us waited outside the salon for OVER AN HOUR and no one showed up. Thank God the weather was nice. The young lady that I was with attempted to call and text the salon staff and we never heard back from them. No one called us to reschedule, apologies for the mishaps, nothing, not even a day later. I have YET to hear from the owner and/or the staff. I will NEVER GO to this salon again; they are unprofessional and unreliable. I am leaving for vacation in about a week and now I have to scramble to get something done to my hair and most salons' schedule are booked for the remainder of the month.

I have a new place to get my hair done, and it's ToBo (Twist Out Blow Out) Hair Salon. My sister booked an appointment for me, and I'm glad she did. I hadn't had a blowout in 5 years and I hadn't been in a salon since 2019. Hana was my stylist, and I really liked her vibe. Loved every moment of my appointment: wash, condition, steam, blow out, silk press. I badly needed a cut, but I only signed up for a trim, so she took off just an inch: I could have let go of two easily. But it's ok: I'll be back. My hair only began to revert a bit around the edges, even with low intensity exercise. I pushed it to two weeks before I gave in and washed it, but I only intended to keep the blow out a week. I couldn't help myself, it looked so good and was such a nice change. I will be back for some natural styling. This place is directly across the street from Blue Moon. This is a dangerous combination, because I love the Cap'n Crunch French Toast at Blue Moon. Parking in Fells is difficult, so I recommend just parking in the garage on Caroline Street, closer to the water. If you do it on the weekends (I was there on a Saturday) it will be very inexpensive. The salon has a chill vibe. They are respectful with masks. They stagger appointments so it's not crowded. And the prices are very fair and leave room for you to leave a generous tip. Thanks Hana!

Yall! If you are looking for a salon in Baltimore, this is it! The vibe (relaxing and calm, nice music), the decor, the services (amazing tea-tree shampoo, the complimentary steam treatment, and the attention that is given to your hair), and the fact that the salon caters to natural hair are all worth it! The salon is also adhering to all protocols surrounding the pandemic and I witnessed cleaning/wiping down/sanitizing after each person in addition to having appointment-only booking so that there are minimal people in the salon at a time.What REALLY impressed me though was my stylist MICHI. The salon is BLESSED to have Michi. Michi put so much care, attention, and effort into styling my hair. I opted for a flexirod set and the whole experience from the wash/condition to the steam treatment to using the flexirods she knew would be the best size for the style was impeccable! She has mastered the technique used for this style and it is evident that styling is her gift!!I highly recommend the salon and am thrilled about my hair. Definitely a fantastic experience ??♀️??♀️?? ✨

Being a travel RN and new to the Baltimore area, I really wanted to get a simple wash and two strand twist style! ToBo Salon delivered just that! Michi was my stylist and she was so sweet and very welcoming! She cared for my hair and took her time (I have a lot of hair lol). I loved the massage at the shampoo station which is always the best part right?! Anywho, my experience there was amazing and I will surely return before my assignment here ends! Side note: The Decor is super cute and the products used on my hair smelled AMAZING!!!
