Tom has been great to work with on our kitchen renovation project. He guided us with the design and we are thrilled with it. The craftsmanship and work is excellent and Tom doesn’t upcharge for things like soft close and plywood. He just does it right from the start. He had the patience and diplomacy required to deal with the other contractors (and us) not always having their jobs done on time. He also helped us complete other projects (like hanging the stove hood) that weren’t really in the spec of his job but he’s just such a nice guy that he pitched in to get it done. We are so happy with the quality of Tom Scheve's craftsmanship. We wanted a custom-made front door with sidelights and a matching storm door for our 1936 Sears & Roebuck Co. Crescent home. Tom found a stain and grain of wood similar to the original chestnut (no longer available) and suggested using a more durable oak. The finished product is stunning, beautiful, and elegant. Many of our neighbors have complemented the work. We were startled by the quiet provided by the new door and have noticed our living room retains heat much better now that it is getting colder. I am over the moon ecstatic with my brand-new desk, thanks to Tom at TCS Woodworking. Speaking and working with him to design my new workspace and bringing it all to light has been a dream. I now have the executive desk with plenty of workspace that I have always wanted. It has been a true pleasure working with Tom on this project for Hansel Law, P.C.
