I had a specialty appointment at Sinai Gastroenterology that I scheduled months in advance. I called ahead to reschedule and reached an answering service for the hospital. I explained that I needed to reschedule, left my name and phone number, and was told someone would call me back.

I never received a callback, text, email, or portal message regarding my appointment indicating that anything had changed.

Because I hadn’t heard back and didn’t want to risk a no-show fee, I canceled my other plans and came to the appointment. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had already been canceled and given away.

It would be nice if they answered the phones. And I second the review about Eli. She is rude and I have refused to be seen by her for years. Dr. Vinayek was a gem ! I wish him all the best in retirement.

The Doctors were very nice. Perhaps a young lady last named Miss Barnes had a very unpleasant odor. She smelled like fish. The aroma made my stomach upset. When I went for my second appointment I requested someone else instead of Miss Barnes
