Having both short hair and in need of a new hairdresser as I recently moved to the city, I found Shearz online. Located in Little Italy, Shearz. has street parking on the small side street right behind it. I've gotten my hair cut with Payton each time. Payton is very fun and pleasant to interact with and I enjoy the hour or so I spend getting my hair cut with her. I have a short bob haircut that I get cut every few months and here at Shearz with a wash, cut, and blow-dry, the price (before tip) totals to $50. I think this is a reasonable fee and I enjoy getting my hair cut here with Payton so I will continue returning.
I’ve been getting my hair cut here for the last year and love it every time. Payton is incredible. You know how you’ll hear stories about how someone’s cooking can be so good that it’ll make a man fall in love with them? That’s me after Payton cuts my hair. Now I take vitamin supplements so my hair will grow extra fast so I can be back sooner. I wouldn’t say I’m IN love but I WOULD be emotionally devastated if Payton weren’t cutting my hair anymore. Payton was a life saver this morning with a very manic new client who just had a horrible experience with another barber. Payton created a calming experience and took a very poorly done cut and turned it into something my guy absolutely loves. It takes a very special stylist to keep the client’s best interest in mind, ESPECIALLY a brand new client. Won’t be a new client anymore though, Payton definitely got a regular added to her books today. Thank you again!!
