My first time hearing about this product was from an afternoon talk radio show. I ended up trying them for the first time during CIAA many years ago. The owner gave me the background on his products and made a few recommendations. I ended up purchasing from him every year since until he stopped coming to the event. I would also see them at jazz festivals, homecomings, etc., and at that time butters and brown sugar scrub were all that I would purchase and to this day I still order those items. Coco Mango continues to be my go to scent for the shea butter, but after sampling the Pear scent at my homecoming I now purchase both. The shea butter comes in a 16 oz container and that container last me at least 6 months, which I simply love. I have extremely dry skin and this is it for me, I only use this product, along with their brown sugar scrub. I will admit that a few years back ordering online was not a great experience, however I haven't had any issues with ordering online in recent years. If you're in the DMV area you can easily find them in a few stores and at any festival type event.

I was so excited to discover the Pure soap stand at this year's Afropunk. The soaps, butters and hair oils were all so delicious in frangrance, the soaps came in a huge plethrea of of aromas and mixtures based on your skins needs. I can't wait to try the chocolate soap, yes it really smells like chocolate. The hair oil I purchased was mango and it left my hair feeling hydrated but not heavy and the aroma was pleasant and not too strong, even when I placed my silk cap on, I would every now and then still get a pleasant wiff from the oil. I sent my friends to the booth on Sunday, they loved my strawberry Shea butter. Pure Shea has earned a new customer for my daily use as well as holidays and birthday gifts. I found the website and the prices are great all the way around. Keep up the great work.
