Even if I couldn't see out my new glasses PWO gets 5 stars. Not only are they probably the only shop in Baltimore where the staff doesn't hate their jobs, they seem to absolutely live for vision care. You get meaningful feedback -- Jordan* is patient and will get as wonky as you want, plus he actually designed the frames I picked. I submitted for out-of-network insurance benefit and net I might pay a bit more out-of-pocket than I might elsewhere, but PWO customer service is worth any delta and -- watch out -- optical providers notoriously rig pricing based on carrier reimbursement; here that's not a factor. This optical store offers the most unique and stylish selection of eyeglasses. Their designs are incredibly cool, fashionable, and truly one-of-a-kind. They have a wide variety of styles, including luxurious, smart, designer, and engineer-inspired frames. Although I'm not in this field and may not describe them perfectly, what I want to express is that their collection is extensive and unique. The staff and owner provide impeccable service, which explains why they were awarded "Best Shop of Baltimore ." They also have an in-house eye doctor who provides professional eye exams and accurate prescriptions to ensure your new glasses fit your vision needs perfectly.... read full review
