BJ's Optical offers amazing savings on eyeglass packages and contact lenses, with a wide assortment of popular frames. Customers can apply FSA/HSA benefits. The staff is very organized and the equipment is state of the art. The eye exam is considered a bargain for the time and attention provided. Reviews highlight that the doctor and eye care specialists are very patient and take the time needed to ensure care meets expectations. One manager is noted for being apologetic, helpful, charming, knowledgeable, and for providing unmatchable customer service, assuring customers to make things right. Many customers report they won’t go anywhere else and very highly recommend the business. However, some management at the location has been described as rude and worthless, refusing to help. There have been issues with store hours and picking up orders. While some glasses initially caused blurry vision and eye strain, adjustments were made to resolve the problems.
The vision examination was extensive and professional. I visited several in mall vision stores without being satisfied with their selection of glasses,, fit, and cost compared to BJs. The in-store Optical Manager was outstanding throughout the entire time of the vision examination to the final selection of glasses.
Update: Mrs. Chong was very apologetic and helpful. We sorted out my glasses situation and I couldnt be more thankful. Her charm, knowledge and customer service is unmatchable. She is literally the only kind manager I have encountered at this location. Thanks again for your help today. I appreciate you!!
Came to drop off my glasses for an RX update and they closed early and had to have my retired mother take them in since the optical shop closes at 6 and I can't make it in time. Had some issues with picking them also and when I talked to the store manager and some assistant manager with sleeve tattoos they were both very rude and refused to help me. Chong and her team were a pleasure to deal with. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. The staff is very organized and the equipment is state of the art. The $75 eye exam was a bargain considering the time and attention they provide. Very highly recommended!!
