About Baltimore Breathwork
Baltimore Breathwork, led by an instructor trained by David Elliott breathwork in Los Angeles, is a unique blend of breathwork and sound healing. The breathwork involves active breathing through the mouth, which helps move stuck energy and bypass the thinking mind while opening the heart. This process aids in processing unresolved emotions, leaving participants feeling lighter and more connected to their authentic selves. Sound healing, which includes crystal sound bowls, gongs, rattles, tuning forks, and chimes, is a form of meditation that realigns the mind, body, and soul. The instructor's teaching style combines sound bathing and group camaraderie, creating an expansive and dynamic experience. Participants may find themselves laughing, releasing guttural screams, or crying during a session, leading to upliftment, increased energy, and a better ability to handle life’s challenges. The positive reinforcement from the instructor encourages a compassionate attitude toward oneself and the world. Baltimore Breathwork has been described as a wonderful and transformative experience, with the instructor, Liz, being genuine and passionate about helping others through breathwork practice. Reviews highlight the profound and empowering nature of the sessions, noting that Liz creates a safe, warm atmosphere to facilitate powerful work. Participants have found the classes particularly helpful during challenging times, assisting in processing feelings and working through fear. Many express that the experience is difficult to fully capture in words and must be personally explored to be understood.
We're truly blessed to have such an amazing teacher as Elizabeth here in Baltimore. Yes, there are other "breathwork" instructors around town, but no one who utilizes Elizabeth' particular style of teaching. The cumulative effects of sound bathing, group camaraderie and her positive reinforcement make for one expansive, unparalleled, dynamic experience. During her class you may laugh, you may let out guttural screams or you may cry...or you may not do any of these, but you'll definitely leave feeling more uplifted, energized and better equipped to take on life' challenges!
Whew! Where do I even begin? When I first came across a Facebook ad last year for a free breathwork and sound healing session in Roland Park, I had no idea that attending would transform my life.
What Liz has created with Baltimore Breathwork is beyond what words can truly say. During my first class, I felt a soul-level connection with Source and my ancestors unlike anything I had experienced before. I left feeling lighter, yet deeply grounded at the same time. I released so many buried emotions I didn’t even know were there.
After that first class, I KNEW I had to sign up for Baltimore Breathwork’s facilitator training.

I recently had the honor of training with Liz in breathwork and sound healing, and the experience was truly transformative. From the very beginning, she created a safe, grounded, and heart-centered space that allowed each of us to explore deeply personal healing journeys while also learning powerful facilitation techniques.
Liz brings a rare combination of deep wisdom, humility, and presence to her teaching. The content was both rich and accessible—interweaving science, spirit, breath and sound in a way that felt both structured and intuitive. I especially appreciated the balance between hands-on practice, experiential learning, and the thoughtful explanations...read full review
