“It's a decent shop. I got my hair cut by AC. It's a lively place. It's got a very stereotypical vibe - a bunch of dudes hanging around talking and joking. There was a seat open when I arrived, so I didn't need to wait long at all.
I think the price was just a bit high for the quality. Some of the other nearby spots are a better value.“

So when Jenn moved to 40 West Barbershop, we followed her and I am so grateful for her talent, patience, and how she touches base throughout the cut to make sure it is what my daughter wants.I started getting my own hair cut by Jenn last summer, and I am wondering why I waited so long? She really is expert at what she does, can follow a photo easily and I cannot stress how much it means to me that she checks in during the cuts--she is honest, not pushy, but does have really outstanding suggestions. I like to style my own hair and dye my own red, so Jenn graciously lets me leave the shop with my damp hair and freshly lightened roots, and I cannot tell you how amazing it is to style it and see exactly what I wanted before my eyes. Jenn is a gem!Also, I love the camaraderie between the barbers and stylists at the shop. I felt so comfortable the first time I went there. It's not uptight or stodgy, and even though my daughter and I were the only female clientele during this visit, it wasn't at all awkward or uncomfortable.“

They took us in and treated us like family the vide was amazing. They put cartoons on for my kids and let me tell you...
