Annapolis Tailoring Shop is a fantastic place for all your tailoring needs, particularly formal wear. The shop, run by a very kind and skilled woman, has received high praise for its excellent quality of work. In a time-sensitive situation, the shop was able to completely redo a botched hem on a formal gown and fix two suits in less than 24 hours. The tailor was professional, patient, and even went the extra mile to steam a wrinkled dress. It is important to note that they do not accept credit cards, so customers should be prepared with cash or check. Many customers, including those who have been returning since 2018, have consistently been impressed with the shop's reliability and high-quality service.
We started using Annapolis Tailoring Shop last year and we've been back many times since. She hemmed by daughter's prom dress last spring and has since taken in/hemmed dresses, pants, jeans and skirts. The quality of the work is top notch and I thought the prices charged were fair, especially consider the quality of work and turnaround time. Highly recommend!
AMAZING!!! We were in town for a wedding & Ms. Elaine saved the day!!! An out of state tailor where we are from completely botched the hem on my formal gown & messed up both of my boys suits. I didn’t have time to remedy it before we had to head to Annapolis so I frantically called to see if there was anyway Annapolis Tailoring Shop could help. Less than 24 hours later (and at a reasonable price given all the work that had to be removed & then done correctly), I received back perfect fitting items with excellent quality. Beautiful job hemming a very full, floor length formal gown inside of a week. I was nervous as a new customer on a short time line with no back up option. The tailor was professional and skilled. I loved my dress and appreciated her working with my timeline. Good to know, they do not take credit cards, so be prepared with cash or check at pick up.Service: Formal wear tailoring
