I Called And They Gave Me A Time n I Came Right In So Grateful For Them To Take Me Bc It Was Last Minute And I Was Stressing Getting My Hair Done Thanks Alot Ladies They Do An Awesome Job n Very Friendly n Nice Ladies
When I came in for a review, I told her I wanted box braids, but medium sized so they're not too big. She said okay. I said I want a #2 and is she sure she will have that color for my appt in a few days, she said sure, okay. I asked her how much, she said $150. The day of the appt, she was still doing someone's twists when I came in. The customer had to leave for personal reasons, hair undone, and Rama sat me down. She was pleasant, but here are my issues: she did not have #2 as promised, just 1 and 1b. The lady came back so I understand being asked to wait for her to finish the customer, but it was over an hour wait. Looking around the room was depressing, it was untidy and caked with dust. Then, she had to hurry because she didn't want to be late for her next job. I asked her to plait my braids and soak them in hot water. This is nothing new. I spoke to her about that when I first came in. It keeps the hair from unraveling. She acts like it's the first time she heard this and said "oh, you want wet n wavy". I said sure, but it's not another style, you said you knew how to do it and I always have the stylist do that after braiding my hair. Once done she's practically kicking me out saying sorry, but she has to go. I asked her how much, and she tells me $180, not looking me in the eyes. I said "what? That's very expensive." She just kept saying $180 and not looking at me. I was too shocked to say much other than good-bye. I stayed professional, but felt really upset and knew I would not return. Watching my braids slide out one by one in the back 3wks after was the cherry on top. I feel she over charged me considering all these factors and wanted to share that as I look for some place else.
