I wasn't quite sure what was wrong with my plumbing but I knew that my hot water tank had a leak. I called RMB Plumbing and left a message. They called back within 5 minutes and told me that they could get someone out my way in the time that I needed. David the plumber called me about 30 minutes before he arrived to confirm the appointment, went over what kind of hot water tank I had and then came on time. I live in a mobile home and there's not many plumbing companies that accept mobile homes for their business in my area. David didn't hesitate to go under the crawl space. Unfortunately for me it was the worst case scenario of two leaks as well as a pretty steady one. Because it was late on a Saturday and the water needed to get shut off, he tried everything he could to contact water works, the city before asking me to call my landlord. David didn't hesitate to explain to me exactly what was going on underneath. While we were waiting for my landlord to arrive to shut off the water, David did everything he could to stop the heavy flow and was somewhat successful once we took a chance at turning the power off, (again, he explained everything and turning the power off helped the situation). He was able to successfully replace what he needed to replace, but then the water began to flow again only because of the outdated piping system from the 1980's. At this point it was 9 p.m., daylight was lost and because of the 1980's system of my piping, there was one pipe that needed to be accessed that was nestled literally in the woodwork of my floorboards. He even offered to stay to do it, but I suggested that he come back sometime on Sunday so that he would have better light. Before he left, he showed detailed videos and pictures of the problems (and it turns out that he forewarned me about a possible electric problem too), and he explained about an extremely good offer that RMB plumbing has for twice annual furnace and hot water tank checks which I jumped the chance on immediately. It was an emotional day to say the least, but David was extremely positive and patient with me. I filled up what I could so that I could at least flush my toilet in the middle of the night and have some water on the side as he turned off my water to stop the leaking temporarily before coming back the next day. David came first thing in the morning the next day, found the pipe, replaced it and turned the water back on super quickly. Because I was out of the house, he called to make sure that everything was alright and also gave me a VERY reasonable price (less than what he quoted initially). I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with this company. They are such hard workers and they will not disappoint you! If I could give this company 10 stars I would. Thank-you so much for your service, patience, honesty and hard work!
