My family worked with Cornerstone to do all of the timberframe for our cottage renovation. They did beautiful work and were wonderful to work with. We still get compliments on our entrance way and exposed beams all the time! We will be hiring them again to build our next lake property. Can’t recommend them enough!
Ron is a very nice guy. I highly recommend his services. He's easy to deal with, very friendly, respectful and polite. He drove my son, who's a minor, to Pilot Mound and back to Winnipeg and didn't overcharge us. He came on-time to pick up my son and drove him back safely. He even bought my kid a snack! I'm pretty sure no taxi drivers would buy us snacks. We will hire Silver Fox again in the future.

We purchased our home built by J.H. Project’s almost 6 years ago. We are extremely happy with the quality, layout, finishes, and continued support from James. We texted him a question about the home and he gave the most detailed answer with all the info we would need and more, after he handed it over to us over 5 years ago! We met with and received quotes from several builders, but after the first meeting with KC we knew we wanted to go with them before even getting a quote as they are so clearly honest, caring and transparent.
We know many people who have built and say it’s stressful, but we had the opposite experience. Everything was smooth sailing from the day shovels hit the ground to possession. They stayed perfectly on budget (other than things we added on) and the communication was awesome. We knew what was happening at all times. They also worked with us for several different customizations and made it easy to do so.
The quality inside and out is great, and we’re so happy with the way it turned out. It’s also clear when talking to trades and other folks who work with KC that they treat their people very well, which shines through in their excellent build quality, care and detail.
If we were ever to build again decades down the road, KC will be our first and only call. It’s nice to know that good, honest, caring people like KC are in the home construction business.
