So from what i hear, it is under new ownership to start, so this is stricly about recent services from the new management if that part is true. My mother had a contract and prepaid for my grandmothers services around a week or two prior to needing them. They contacted her saying the ashes were ready, and gave her an invoice of funds due. She had to prove to them she paid because they lost the records of her paying. The services costs due, were less than what was paid for already. Figureing it is what it is, they had a contract, she picked up the remains. They were not in a nice box as she had requested and paid for. Doug and his staff were so professional and easy to work with. When you have just lost someone close to you it is so reassuring to have someone like Doug by your side to handle all of the details. He was so good at walking us through the process from beginning to end.

We were trying to watch the funeral for my matron-of-honor. Since we are over 4,000 miles away and COVID-19 is taking place there was no way we could be in Massachusetts to attend. We called the funeral home 1/2 hour before it was to begin and were told it would be Live streamed. How delighted we were to see some loved ones on the screen. We called Stone-Ladeau as soon as it began, sharing that the recording was not working as the pastor was not being heard. I was told there was nothing that could be done. Soon my mother, an 85-year-old lady, was speaking. We called again and the woman in the office said she was upstairs and they could not interrupt the service to correct...read full review
