Fine, if this is your only option. I went to Budz for a long time, just switched dentists and only then did I realize how unhappy I actually was while being treated by him. On the general side of things, appointments are hard to come by (since the office is closed much more often than other practices), and leaving the practice (or getting your records in general) is a nuisance, since they only seem to keep paper files and hard copies of the x rays and take multiple days to send records to another dentist. Understandable for the 1990s, but disappointing and slightly concerning in 2019. In terms of my personal experience, I went to him before I was going to lose my insurance and wanted to make sure I was all good. He said I was fine, no cavities, all set, and I didn't think much more of it. Saw a new dentist for my next cleaning, and immediately find out I have multiple cavities that have been there for years (he could show the largest/oldest to me with a hand mirror- that's how big it was), as well as damage to lower teeth from a previous "routine procedure". That's a lot of money out of pocket for cavities that should have been spotted while I still had insurance. Budz doesn't seem to catch problems until they get so bad that you're having serious pain (even the pain/sensitivity I now know was a cavity was brushed off as normal). After talking to other people in the community, there seem to be a lot of similar experiences and frustrations, but most stay because they've "always gone there and it's too hard to switch".
