To fully understand how much I appreciate Laura and the work she does, you have to hear a little about me. I am 45 years old and I have been an athlete all my life. When sports were no longer something I competed in, I took on exercise/CrossFit as the next best thing. I am a busy mom of two and I work as a full time Physician Assistant. I have no patience or time for my own injuries. Having said that, I have had on and off low back pain for 20+ years. I’ve been to other physical therapists, but usually finish my course of treatment with very little improvement. My most recent episode of low back pain/strain has left me beyond frustrated after weeks of no improvement. Tylenol, ibuprofen, muscle relaxers, lidocaine patches, and heat packs didn’t do for me what Laura did in 2 sessions. Our work together started with her diagnosing my problem and explaining to me in detail the source of my pain so that I had a good understanding of the solution and prevention going forward. We then progressed to her teaching me exercises to perform that would fix my physical ailment and ultimately relieve my pain. Lastly, we went through exercises that then strengthen the necessary muscle groups that will then prevent future low back pain. I am so grateful to her for her knowledge, time, compassion, and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Physical Therapist.
I highly recommend Laura if you need a physical therapist for anything, including injuries or even debilitating conditions. I was diagnosed with a painful neurological condition that affects my mobility and ability to complete every day activities. I have been to several physical therapists over the years with failed results until I met Laura. She has literally changed my life! Her extensive knowledge and holistic approach puts me at ease and makes me feel confident and comfortable in her care. Laura is nothing but amazing and has given me hope that I will live a long active life with my husband.
