C&S Wholesale Grocers is a distribution center that provides a generally positive experience for drivers. The facility features on-site parking and allows drivers to return to the staging area during their breaks. However, Pad 7 parking can be tight and chaotic due to some drivers struggling with parking. Unloading times may vary based on delivery volume, but the center ensures a smooth process, with efficient management and a better experience compared to other locations. Drivers are required to drop their trailers and return to Pad 7 after unloading, where they will receive a call when their trailer is empty.
While the area, Westfield, is beautiful and natural, it's important for drivers to focus on the route into the location and check for low bridges and restricted roads. The business has lots of maneuvering room, but it can become crowded when multiple trucks are assigned to doors. Safety is essential, as some drivers may act erratically under pressure. At departure, drivers must stop at the guardhouse and ensure their doors are closed before moving toward the exit.
Additionally, the lighting near the exit needs improvement for safety, especially at night. Drivers should remain aware of their surroundings, as the area is not fenced and wildlife may be present. Overall, C&S Wholesale Grocers is a typical distribution center that aims to meet the needs of its drivers while promoting safety and efficiency.
Appt 9:30pm arrival at 7pm they send u to drop paperwork in a black mailbox then park on a designated area. 7:30pm they called me with a door . Break seal put it back on the trailer drop the trailer and go back to parking area. 10:15pm they called me with clean Bill and ready to go. No overnight parking if u can’t drop the trailer they will reject the load. I had a frozen load . Not bad .

My experience here was completely positive.
From the moment I arrived, the gate guards were friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. I was assigned a door quickly, dropped my trailer, and the unloading process was very fast and efficient.
Everyone I dealt with was helpful and respectful. I really appreciated how smoothly everything went. Thank you for making the process easy and stress-free.
